BBC Report: Plight of girls trafficked from Nepal to India #FREEDOMFRIDAY

poor-villageI came across this harrowing BBC report yesterday about the horrendous plight of the thousands of women and children who are trafficked over the border from Nepal to India each year. The report was especially poignant for me as a few months ago a good friend of mine came to our Redemption Sessions prayer event in Cardiff and shared her own personal story of being involved in the fight against trafficking in Nepal. It’s a truly heartbreaking situation.

However, through the work of ministries such as Peace Rehabilitation Center, the light is shining and hope is at hand. My friend shared about several ways that we can be involved supporting these precious women in Nepal, one of which involves buying pigs! I hope to share more about that soon. In the meantime, please pray for the women, children and traffickers of Nepal.
