When he saw the man, he DID NOT pass by…

Hey people, my good friend Jason Bushell from IJM has got in touch and asked me to let you all know about an event that he is organising in Cardiff next week. I’ll let him explain in his own words…

Dear friends

IJM students will Stand4Freedom Friday, 6th June, outside Cardiff Central Library. Standing for 24 hours (from9am) to give a face to the nearly 30 million who have been robbed of freedom and dignity and who go largely unnoticed.

Fighting injustice is our Father’s work but He wants His children to join Him, to be part of something bigger. He works in us while working through us. International Justice Mission’s work is inspired by God’s call to “seek justice, correct oppression, bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.” [Is.1:17].

IJM students aim to raise money to finance the work of rescue, restoration and legal aid for victims of violent oppression.

How can you get involved?

  • Spread the word;
  • Learn why ending poverty requires ending violence;
  • Stand with the students for an hour or so. Let me know if you want to be added to the team so you can get sponsored;
  • Sponsor the students as they stand for 24 hours (details of how to give are below).

The Church cannot pass by.

Thank you again for helping us to bring justice to those most in need. Do get in touch if you would like more information about any of the above options or have any questions.
